“There is something magical about Redwood trees. Despite our tendency to exploit and destroy the land, these massive trees have survived for thousands of years and provide the oxygen we breathe. They can grow over 350 feet and as wide as 20 feet in diameter. Beyond their size, their extensive root systems create a stable, interconnected community that collectively supports the forest and unique habitats at their feet.”
This miniature landscape is available in a free-standing rustic metal frame with a hinge on its right side
These miniature landscapes are small-batch limited edition reproductions of original hand painted miniature gouache and watercolor landscapes on cotton-based Nujabi paper.
Each landscape was carefully and meticulously painted both En plein air and in the artists studio and reproduced at size through a local fine-art printing company
Get to Know the Austin Artist:
My designs are inspired by nature. Getting outside is good for the soul- it reminds us to slow down, stills our restlessness and turmoil and helps us reconnect with ourselves and appreciate the world around us. My goal is to bring peace and a little bit of whimsy to paper and cheer up someone in a small way. Through my artwork I try to capture some of the beauty of the natural world and share it with you!
