This piece evokes moments of cool, misty quiet as the sun rises to bring another day of scorching heat. Neutral tones in the midground offset the warm glow on the sun-kissed rock-face. Though I'm not a morning person, this piece brought back happy memories of early morning blueberry picking with my family.
