Meaning/Inspiration of Artwork: Part of the Opening Portals series.
These paintings are my attempts to paint portals to a sacred and timeless place, to heaven and beyond. Some of the paintings in this series are accomplished in a single sitting, others can take years. I feel these “portals” invite us to look deep within ourselves and also emanate positive and loving energy. They are a dance, a conversation, moody, loose, emotional, and fun. Every piece offers a light that shines through the dark, with the hope to open and renew the forgotten truths of spirit. I hope they inspire you and kindle your fire as they have my own.
