Somos Luchadores
Bieke Campos
Oil on wood
18"h x 18"w
2022
This is a portrait of my brother Gerardo and my sister Kendra. This painting represents that we’re fighters. Resilient, and shared bonds between shared experiences, purpose or value. “Somos Luchadores” is about dealing with struggles, fighting through. The Luchador mask is a metaphor of remaining strong and fighting through challenges and struggles.
