A one-of-a-kind art piece inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsugi that repairs the broken with gold. The brokenness is not hidden, but rather embraced and highlighted, attributing value to the journey. This collectible art shell is from the 'Ancient' series using shells that are naturally dyed by the ocean bed, taking sometimes hundreds or thousands of years.

Get to Know the San Antonio Artist:
Painter, photographer, dancer, gardener, lover of nature and all things that bring wholeness, I am drawn to the art of Kintsugi and the message that value is found in embracing both the beautiful and broken places. I believe that with the touch of Grace, broken places are mended and can become even more beautiful. There is value in the journey and those rough places can teach us and add beauty to our story if we allow them.
My goal is to showcase this idea of ‘redemptive beauty’ through my art; what I call KintsugiGrace®.
