Una pareja pasea por un cálido sendero acompañado de su mascota.Al fondo casi perdido en el horizonte,se ve una casa,el Sol dibuja desde el cénit el contorno de la pareja.La mujer desnuda refleja la libertad de un alma coronada con el don de la plenitud.El hombre vestido refleja su carácter introspectivo ,guarda lo mejor para susurrar lo al oído de su amada cuando nadie puede verlos.La obra representa un sueño de amor y armonía.

A couple walks along a warm path accompanied by their pet. In the background, almost lost on the horizon, a house can be seen. From its zenith, the sun outlines the couple’s silhouette. The naked woman reflects the freedom of a soul crowned with the gift of fulfillment. The clothed man reflects his introspective nature, saving the best to whisper into his beloved’s ear when no one can see them. The piece represents a dream of love and harmony.

Get to Know the Artist:
Yordanis Garmendía Mederos is a Cuban artist whose diverse practice spans drawing, painting, wood carving, and printmaking. As a Chair and professor of the printmaking department at la Academia de Artes Plasticas  he has led and taught numerous workshops across Cuba and has directed community drawing and painting programs. His works are held in many private collections and have been awarded to notable cultural figures in Cuba.. A member of the Creator’s Registry, Mederos now works as an independent artist, continuing to produce an extensive and compelling body of work.
