Though the kidney shapes are pretty obvious in this one, I didn’t intend to make kidneys. The title comes from the Kurt Vonnegut short story, “The Man Without No Kiddleys,” an important plot element of which is the inaccurate naming of kidneys.

Get to Know the Artist:
My abstract work arose, in part, from a fascination with the lines of Ukiyo-e prints and manga illustration.  Rather than lines reproduced from drawings to create multiple images, however, the lines of my abstract drawings and paintings are made compositely to create single works.
