This piece delves into a world of pink and green and experiments with how variations of those colors affect objects in the painting, causing them to connect, advance, and retreat. This painting also uses non-traditional colors for the figure's skin tones (just a hint of Thiebaud-esque) to connect the figure to the objects in the painting as well. The tea cup in the foreground asks the viewer to be a part of the piece, perhaps in the role of confidant, friend, or sister. Drink up!

Although I have been an artist all my life in some form or fashion, in the last few years I have jumped in with both feet.
