Yordanis Garmendía Mederos is a Cuban artist whose diverse practice spans drawing, painting, wood carving, and printmaking. As a Chair and professor of the printmaking department at la Academia de Artes Plasticas  he has led and taught numerous workshops across Cuba and has directed community drawing and painting programs. His works are held in many private collections and have been awarded to notable cultural figures in Cuba.. A member of the Creator’s Registry, Mederos now works as an independent artist, continuing to produce an extensive and compelling body of work.
