Get to Know the Austin Artist:
Karin Tuck is a fiber artist who works primarily with fabric and thread, inspired by scenes of nature and travel. She sews layers of textiles to create a tranquil journey to evoke all senses. She focuses on conservation and environmentalism. Petersen lives in Austin, Texas, with her husband and four children. She has a BFA from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles.
