Get to Know the Artist:
Kate Muvceski developed Cactus Clayworks from the love of the medium and the desire to create handcrafted pottery that combines beauty and function. Leggy planters are created from a combination of plaster molds and handbuilding techniques. Terracotta slip is poured in the plaster molds designed and created by the artist. These molded pieces are further articulated and then finished by hand.
