Inspiration came from red roses on the bedside table, a slide at a playground, and writing poetry in a red journal. Every garden has a story, every human has a story, Mother Nature has a story. This piece brings a youthful invitation to the viewer to explore their own story.

Get to Know the Artist:
Ashley Lazarz is a Texas native and emerging abstract painter with a background in Studio Arts, working primarily in acrylic and mixed media. Whether through layers of paint, found materials, or spontaneous mark-making, she creates work that feels both raw and reflective. Inspired by daily human interactions, nature, and music, Ashley's practice is deeply intuitive. A vegetarian and devoted yogi, she brings mindfulness into her art exploring emotion, memory, and connection through texture, color, and composition.
