Get to Know the Artist:
I’m a landscape artist with roots in graphic design, where I first fell in love with color, composition, and visual storytelling. While painting has always been part of my life, it’s taken center stage in recent years.
I work primarily with acrylics on wood, drawing inspiration from the landscapes I explore on hikes – from Austin’s Greenbelt and Texas Hill Country trails to road trip adventures and the sweeping views of national parks. Nature’s shifting light, colors, and forms shape each piece, creating a visual journal of my experiences.
My process begins with a limited palette and loose strokes, gradually building layers to add depth and detail. Painting daily keeps me grounded and constantly learning.
Design taught me to look closely and stay curious – qualities I bring to every painting. Above all, I hope my work sparks connection and encourages others to follow their own creative path.
