Get to Know the Artist:
After becoming a mother in 2017, Erica transitioned from full-time film and television work in Austin to the rural bliss of life in the hill country. In her garden studio, surrounded by native plants and animals, she paints endearing animal portraits and stunning landscapes that reflect her deep admiration for her surroundings. Erica Dawn Smith’s work is a playful ode to the rolling hills, crystal waters, and abundant flora and fauna that exemplify Central Texas.
