ReFL&CT #1
Rebecca Bennett

Mixed Media - cardboard, paint, string, wood, washi tape, paper on cradled wood panel
24” x 18” x 1”
2024

This series of work is part of my RE:FL&CT series.

Playing on the word “reflect”, each of these pieces explores Reuse, Form, Line, Color, & Texture. The constructions, which reuse cardboard with painting drips from my oil painting work, and other found objects in the studio, when combined almost elicit spirituality. The compositions are reminiscent of abstract portraiture.
