Get to Know the Artist:
Casey Gallagher lives in Austin with her three daughters and many pets. She graduated from UT Austin with a BFA in Art History, followed many years later with a Masters in Historic Preservation from the School of Architecture. After a career that meandered through non-profit arts administration, art teaching, historic preservation and architectural conservation, she finally sat down one day and returned to art. She enjoys spending days in her sunny home studio, listening to music and trying to capture the personalities of her favorite animals.
