A pretend encounter between two powerful symbols—The Horse and The Snake—in a dark, haunting scene. It is staged as a child might make-believe during a playtime session with toys, their innocence masked by expressions of fear and aggression.
Get to Know the Artist:
Jordan Alyse Hamilton is a multimedia artist based in Austin, TX. She received a B.A. in Art with a minor in Graphic Design from St. Edward’s University in 2013, where she now teaches as an adjunct professor in the Visual Studies Department. She received an M.A. in Critical Theory and Creative Research from the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, OR, in 2017.
