Sunflowers at Sunrise
Aluminum metal with white base

My husband and I got out of the house hours before sunrise in order to drive to this perfect field of sunflowers in Texas. I brought multiple cameras, and lenses with high hopes only to leave most of them in the car. It was dark, I'm afraid of snakes and we needed to walk through a few big ditches to get to the field. However, once the sun began to rise even a little, I grabbed my camera and a few favorite lenses to capture this awe inspiring sunrise along a busy Texas highway. What a dichotomy- this beauty with loud traffic and police sirens around us. We travel quite a bit to get the perfect shots, however this busy highway an hour and a half away was one of my favorite trips. We didn't see any snakes.
