Despite growing up in dry Central Texas, my husband’s family introduced me to lake life as an adult. I may not be a natural water-skier yet, but I’ve grown to appreciate many lakeside pleasures—especially the big skies. This painting captures an energetic cloud bursting across the sky as evening falls.
