This painting is an ode to wallpaper styles and patterns that have held steadfast during the last century. I am especially fond of damask, harlequin diamond, and chinoiserie. The colors used in each pattern also work to compliment and connect the other patterns in the piece. The bold black outlines provide enough guidance to allude to the Victorian-era curves but only in the least obstructive way possible. To interior design, with love.
